1. In God's Hands (Radio edit)
2. Runaway
3. I Am (leaked song)
4. All Good Things (Instrumental)

Sophie Ellis-Bextor 'Me And My Imagination'

Brand new single from Ms Ellis-Bextor. This track actually leaked waaaaay back in january, alongside the rest of the tracks on the album sampler. The album, Trip The Light Fantastic, is available on May 21st (my birthday) and features collaborations with Cathy Dennis, Greg Kurtsin, Xenomania and Hannah Robinson.

1. Me And My Imagination

The tracks below are from the new album's various samplers, promo compilations and B-sides - note that other than Catch You, some of these won't be on the finished album, or even these mixes. I'm digging that the guy who wrote and produced Catch You is working with Shirley Manson on her solo album. New York City Lights is a definite single, and If You Go is one of the most fresh, original and inspired tracks Xenomania have co-written and produced in years.

1. Catch You
2. Today The Sun's On Us
3. Down With Love
4. Colour Me In
5. Dear Jimmy
6. New York City Lights
7. If You Go

Happy Birthday to Sophie Ellis-Bextor, who turned 28 on April 10th, 2007 (today).

Mutya Buena 'Real Girl'

I adore this song!!!!!!!! I am so looking forward to the ex-Sugababe's new album, I love the previously mentioned Out Of Control, and the new song Strung Out (streaming via her website) and the Pulp-meets-Lily Allen-tinged new single Real Girl. Which is currently leaking onto P2P as we speak.

Mutya Buena - Real Girl
Mutya Buena & Groove Armada - Out Of Control (Song 4 Mutya)

And when I say leaking, as in, it's just appeared on the net in the last thirty minutes. The promo video is also on youtube as of today too ---> click here
Mutya's album is due out June 4th, the single is due out May 18th (did I mention that both her and myself share a birthday - May 21st).

Fucking hilarious!

" I'd go down on you ... if you asked me too ... cause I believe in you ... I would die for you ..."

Siobhan Donaghy 'So You Say'

New single from the ex-Sugababe, and the second single from her Ghosts album.

Manic Street Preachers 'Your Love Alone'

This track might actually be my new favourite Manics song, and the addition of both The Cradigan's Nina Persson and backing vocals from Nicky Wire make it tuly sublime. Check the battle of the bands style video too. It precedes the album Send Away The Tigers which is out May 7th. Also included is Underdogs, the free single downloadable from Manics.co.uk

Bjork 'Earth Intruders'

Every time Bjork releases an album the entire world likes to listen out for it in a kind of what-is-she-doing-now-car-crash-but-can't-not-look kinda way. Even if you don't like Bjork you gotta admire that girls balls. This Timbaland-produced song sounds like Nine Inch Nails covering Maneater. I kid you not.

Earth Intruders

Dolores O'Riordan 'Ordinary Girl'

Debut solo single from the Cranberries lead singer. I used to cringe at her overly-Oirish delivery ('therrs a bomb, git owt frem undRR youRR seat nigh') but I really really like this song, I'm quite surprised. Strummy guitar pop which Melanie C and Natalie Imbruglia should strive to make.

Ordinary Girl

(PS Am I the only one who thinks she looks like Shirley on this picture?)

Freeform 5 'No More Conversation'

I saw this on The Box today, the video looks like the inside of an albino Rubik's Cube.
Seemingly, the first came to prominence doing mixes for Mylo, Justin Timberlake and The Killers, and this electro single which first came out in 2005 has been reworked, given a wee bit of Hed Kandi promo and is out May.

1. No More Conversation
2. No More Conversation (Mylo remix)
(Appears on the new compilation 'Electrified: The Sound of Electro-House')

Stefy 'Chelsea'

Still bigging up this Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This-sampling tune, which has suffered a non promotion release this week in the UK, and I'm re-adding it here alongside this new Chris Cox club mix I found on P2P.

Chelsea (LP Version) / (Chris Cox remix)

Kish Mauve 'Modern Love'

I fucking love this.
It's like The Bravery and Speedway joined together and got vibey. This was first release last September, and is get re-issued at the start of the summer. Also uploaded the b-side I'm In Love With A German Filmstar which sounds like Neon Nights-era Dannii Minogue mixed with The Cardigans.

1. Modern Love
2. I'm In Love With A German Filmstar

Sunblock 'Baby Baby'

The guys who brought us that danced up version of the Baywatch theme last year return this spring with an awesome cover of Corona's 1995 hit 'Baby Baby'... which I might still have on single somewhere.......

P Diddy & Keyshia Cole 'Last Night'

The single version of this song from the Diddy, I missed this upon release, but I caught the video today and liked it enough to post it again. Sounds like a 80's Sega game. (I really go for that sound)

Last Night

Beyonce & Shakira 'Beautiful Liar' remixes

This mix might actually be better than the mixes Freemasons did for Deja Vu & Ring The Alarm - simply stunning. In fact I find it better than the LP version of this song, which sounds like the background music in an Indiana Jones shopping in an Arab market scene.

1. LP Version
2. Freemasons club mix
3. Freemasons radio edit

Paris Hilton 'Nothing In This World'

I remember the day I decided I liked Paris Hilton. It was quite possibly in Moda one evening with Colin and Johan dancing to Stars Are Blind after about six Sexi Mexis and my hair was looking great.

Also, to quote Shirley Manson's blog, think about this:
"I couldn't stand the mention of her name until just this week, when the penny dropped and a lightbulb flashed and all of a sudden my brain was repeating and repeating "I like Paris Hilton. She's a no good, trashy slut." I like the fact that she's simply taking advantage of what is essentially a hideously corrupt system and making it work for her to a ridiculously successful degree by being a sly, manipulative sexual foreplayer. The fact that she also happens to be a poor little rich girl is even funnier, adding insult to injury to the hypocritical nonsense that purports we were all born equal. No sir, unfortunately we were NOT all born equal and the system in place ensures that we remain that way. Those who do not have are discrimminated against and those who have, get more.At least Paris is being honest about it and that's why she's my girl of the week because if there is one thing in this world we do not have enough of,it is people who are willing to illuminate the truth.Paris embodies the world we are living in.Straight up."

1. Nothing In This World (Dave Aude club mix)
2. Nothing In This World (Jason Nevins remix)
3. Stars Are Blind (Tracey Does Paris remix)

Avril Lavigne - Girlfriend

As much as I try to hate Girlfriend, well done to Lavigne for having her biggest ever hit with this actually brilliant song. She's actually recorded the song, with the chorus in different languages, but has been criticized for having a bad accent!

1. LP Version
2. French version
3. Instrumental

The song is currently at #2 in the UK charts, and debuted at #5 in the US Hot 100, her highest position and highest debut respectively.
